LIFE JACKET DESIGN+GALLERY is a vibrant visual paradise created by artist/owner Carol Christensen. The contemporary gallery space itself was designed and built by Christensen to display her plentiful output of fine art and design pieces (with recession- minded pricetags!). Provocative paintings, mixed media, wearable art/accessories and home décor often contain themes of psychological contemplation (the artist is also a practicing psychoanalytic psychotherapist). This stimulating environment and its lively contents reflect the artist’s unending fascination with the interplay between fine art, craft, graphic and architectural design. LIFE JACKET DESIGN also offers interior design consultation. The gallery is located deliciously close to St Honore French Bakery. And while a trip to LIFE JACKET may not save your life, it will definitely open your eyes!
